He is survived by: his wife Joy Smith of New Boston, Texas; his children, Jackie Smith Jr. (Brandy) of Fort Worth, Richard Smith of Texarkana, Kim Eason (Raylon) of Tyler, Preston Smith of New Boston, Greg Phillips (Rosemary) of Texarkana and Tracy Phillips (Bryan) of Wake Village, Texas.; his grandchildren, Raylon Cole Eason, Hayden Eason of Tyler, Texas, Kaela Phillips of Maryland, Lauryn, Dylan Phillips of Atlanta, Texas, Alleigh Smith and Hunter Wayne Smith of Texarkana, Texas.; his sisters, Linda Gray (Melvin) of Redwater, Texas, Sarah Holbert of Texarkana, Texas and Jenie Crumpton of Greenville, Texas; and his cousin Doyle Firth of Simms, Texas..
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bates-Rolf Funeral Home (502 S McCoy Blvd, New Boston, TX 75570). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Old Union Cemetery (4863 US-67, Simms, TX 75574).
