The memory of Frances Elizabeth Fox of New Boston, Texas, who passed away on November 3, 2024 at the age of 92, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Virgil and Lucille Amanda Poer of Simms, Texas.; her husbands, Thomas David Hawkins and Ansel "Buddy" Fox; and her daughter Sharon Elizabeth Hawkins Lamb.
She is survived by: her children, Clarence David Hawkins (Sharilynn Hawkins) of Lakeway and Laura Ann Spicer (Gary Spicer) of Ennis; her stepdaughters, Charlsey Gilbert of Garland and Connie Henderson of McKinney; and her grandchildren, Weston Lamb, Ryan Spicer, Amanda Westbrook, Taylor Hawkins, Nicholas Hawkins and Kyle Mikulenka. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bates-Rolf Funeral Home (502 S McCoy Blvd, New Boston, TX 75570). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (506 S McCoy Blvd, New Boston, TX 75570). A burial was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at the McCright Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Old Union Cemetery Association or First Baptist Church of New Boston.
