She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Withem and Ruth Withem; and her husband James C. Johnson. She is survived by: her children, Shirley G. Spry of Mt. Vernon, Jimmy D, Karen Johnson of Atlanta, Tressa Hobbs of New Boston, Karlene, Johnny Edwards of DeKalb and Michael Johnson of New Boston; and her grandchildren, Sherine Stroud, Shannan Wharton, James C. Johnson, Dusty Hobbs, Morgan Holder, Jessica Brown and Zachary Jones. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
