She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayburn "Cowboy" Garretson and Ann Garretson; and her siblings, Earl Garretson and Mary Garretson. She is survived by: her daughter Stephanie Ann Welch of New Boston, Texas; her brother Ben Garretson of New Boston, Texas; her nieces, Rosemary Phillips of Atlanta and Kathy Garcia (Jacob) of Corpus Christi, Texas; her nephew Michael Garretson (Sara) of New Boston, Texas; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Kaela Phillips of Columbia, Lauryn Phillips of Atlanta, Josey Kate Garretson of New Boston, Texas, Jacob Logan Garcia of Corpus Christi, Dylan Phillips of Atlanta and Stoker Garretson of New Boston, Texas; and her aunt Ruby Notley of Terral, Texas. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bates Family Funeral Home (601 E Front St, De Kalb, TX 75559). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
