It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillian Pearl Doherty-Montgomery of Nevada, Texas, born in Wylie, Texas, who passed away on December 21, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonzy Shewbirt and Gracie Allen Shewbirt (Branch); her former husband Willie Doherty; her husband Leslie Montgomery; and her siblings, Dorothy Snow, J. L. Flanagan, Clint Flanagan and Kenneth Shewbirt.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Doherty of Royse City, TX, Cheryl Castro (Mike) and Tasha White of Plano, TX; her siblings, Hazel Gay of Heath, TX, Leon Flanagan of Garland, TX and Barbara Engledow of Wylie, TX; her grandchildren, Brandon, Candace, Colby, Chaste, Dalton and Shelbi; and her great grandchildren, Emerie, Aubrie, Landrie, Madison, Beckham, Bryson, Alissa, Raiden, Tidus, Blakely, Kennlee, Dallas and Dash.
