He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Ashley of Nevada; his children, Chad Ashley (Tonya) of Savoy, Brian Ashley of Nevada, Gwenn Erlinger (Ray) of Frisco and Monica Joseph (Jereme) of Argyle; his grandchildren, Lauren Hoodenpyle, Ben Ashley, Nathan Ashley, Leslie Ashley, Landon Ashley, Kayley Ashley, Brendan Ashley, Brody Ashley, Rileigh Marsh, Bridget Joseph, Brian Joseph and Rachel Erlinger; and his sister-in-law Nancy Bundy of Mexia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
