He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Benton; his parents, Frank Benton and Ada Benton; and his siblings, Frank Benton Jr., Guy Benton, Peggy Wittneben, Marie Young and Delores Benton.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sherry Benton and Donna Weishiemer (Randy); and his grandsons, Randy Weishiemer Jr., Matthew Benton and Noah Weishiemer. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the E. P. Compean Funeral Directors (1223 6th St, Rosenberg, TX 77471). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Needville Public Cemetery (11714 Needville Fairchilds Rd, Needville, TX 77461).
