It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verna Dell (Miller) McGuire of Needville, Texas, who passed away on January 21, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Hannie Miller (Gerken); her husband Donald E. McGuire; her sons, Dudley Kent McGuire and Randal Don McGuire; her father William Miller; and her brother Edwin "Booby" Miller.
She is survived by: her daughter Monica Hurta (Bud); her daughter-in-law Terry McGuire; her grandchildren, Chad Hurta, Amy, Jarrod Stasney, Kelly, Chris Climer, Katie McGuire, Michael and Keely McGuire; and her great grandchildren, Ryder, Sydney, Sadie Stasney, Oliver, Lily, Emma Climer and Beckett McGuire.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Immanuel Evangelical Church or Needville Senior Citizens.
