He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold J. Sury and Georgia Ann Sury (Kovar); his sister Genevieve Sury Batchelor; his parents-in-law, Anton and Martha Stransky; his brothers-in-law, John Allen Nesvadba, Dennis Stavinoha and John Jardine; and his in-laws, Johnny and Dona Stransky.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Sury (Stransky); his children, Rodney Sury, Lori Richard (John) and Craig Sury (Gwynne); his siblings, Jimmy Sury (Margaret), Thomas Sury (Lynn), Kathy Fojtik (C. D.), Donnie Sury and Jerome Sury (Joyce); his grandchildren, Wyatt Gaubatz, Ethan Sury, Wesley Gaubatz (Bella), Owen Sury, Grace Richard and Austin Sury; his great grandchildren, Roman and Henry; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Jardine and Dorothy Stavinoha.
