She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Manning and Katie Manning; her husband Herbert Brown, Sr.; her children, Herbert Brown, Jr. and Sapphira Brown-Jones; and her sisters, Pankira Jones and Martha Young.
She is survived by: her children, George E Manning of Needville, Isaac Brown (Cynthia) of Needville and Alisha Brown of Needville; her grandchildren, Cashius, Bryant, Eddie, Sherman Jones, Kay and Steve; and her sisters, Pauline Hightower of Houston and Alline Henderson (Gerry) of Needville. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
