It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Zapata Quintanilla (Needville, Texas), who passed away on January 8, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Aurelio "Papito" Quintanilla; her parents, Manuela Cumpian and Catarino Zapata; her uncle Isidro; and her children, Aurelio Jr., Catarino Jesus, John Mesa (Gloria), Juan Daniel (Sharon), Jose Rafael (Norma), Raul (Melissa), David, Sylvia, Manuela and Mario.
