He was predeceased by: his father Hector Aponte Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Snowden Denecke; his wife Tracey Sutton Aponte of Needville; his children, Tara Thompson (Kevin) of Nada, Joseph Aponte Jr. (Yesenia) of Clearwater, FL and Yanira Burgos of Northfield, NJ; his siblings, Hector Aponte Jr. of Mays Landing, NJ, Tina Super, John Aponte (Diana) of Mays Landing, NJ and Sara Hamilton of Mays Landing, NJ; and his siblings-in-law, Faith and Charlie Barr of Mays Landing, NJ. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
