He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Anderson and Cecelia Borowiak Anderson; his wife Charlene; and his siblings, Standle Anderson, Steve Anderson, Martha Huffman and Mary Lee Grawnoski.
He is survived by: his children, Diana Parr (Maurice), Jeanne Parr, Joseph Anderson (Melissa) and Steve Dernehl (Shirley); his grandchildren, Brandon Parr (Heidi), Joshua Parr, Liz Parr, Amanda Anderson (Terry McNeil), Ashley Rainosek (Jeff), Lauren Grudziecki (Justin), Jackie Kumaga (Raynor), Nick Parr (Amanda), Joseph Anderson Jr. (Whitney) and Blake Anderson (Lea); and his great grandchildren, Jacob, Jackson Rainosek, Collin Grudziecki, J. R. Parr, Kinsley, Wyatt Parr, Raleigh, Reece Kumaga, Audrey and Easton Anderson.
Memorial donations may be given in his memory to Saint Paul's Presbyterian Church in Needville, TX.
