He was predeceased by: his parents, Amel Stroud and Fern Stroud; and his sister Carolyn Marie Stroud. He is survived by: his wife Marie "Mitzi" Stroud; his daughter Jennifer Ponder (Michael); his granddaughters, Jillian Grace and Claire Olivia Ponder; and his siblings, Larry Ray Stroud (Nettie), Dr. Robert Stroud (Karen), Kathy Crabtree (Jim), Kevin Stroud (Gloria) and Karen Thieme (Larry).
