He is survived by: his wife Anita Lara; his children, Cresencio Lara Jr., Mary Angela Torres, George Vela Sr., Wilfredo Vela Jr. and Emma Rincones; and his siblings, Victor, David, Francis, Sylvia, Rosalia, Patricia, Tina and Rosie. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 13 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 11th 2024 at 9:00 AM and on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Caballero-Ryder Funeral Home (722 Grillo Way, Rosenberg, TX 77471).
