He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Zimmerman and Lottie Gonyo; and his wife Marcia Jean Karam. He is survived by: his sister Dorthy Ann Wleczyk; his children, Brian Zimmerman, Missy Barnum and Robert Barnum; and his stepdaughters, Diana Tydlacka (Jimmy Nelson), Gayle Horak (James), Charlene Miller and Vickie Maresh (Craig Zwahr).

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors Chapel (1201 4th St, Rosenberg, TX 77471). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
