It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Frederick Carter of Nederland, Texas, born in Port Arthur, Texas, who passed away on April 21, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Howard Carter; his wife Marlene Litchfield Carter; his mother Janie Lorenz Carter; his brothers, Phillip and John Carter; and his grandson William R Carter.
He is survived by: his sons, Gary Carter (Eleanor) of Klein and Mark Carter (Lesley) of Austin; and his grandchildren, Amanda Carter, Shelby Carter and Grace Carter.
