She is survived by: her children, Melba Romero (Jerry) of Nederland, Texas, Johnny Powell (Jackie) of Nederland, Texas and Tommy Romero (Linda) of Groves, Texas; her sister Velma Anderson of San Augustine, Texas.; and her grandchildren, Cindy Sweat, Preston Romero, Frank Romero, Jason Powell, Tanya Clemmons, Jerret Romero and Natasha Sheppard. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
