He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert R. Waite and Edna Pearl Atkinson (Edwin G. Atkinson); his wife Carlie McCord Waite; and his brother Sam Waite. He is survived by: his sons, Eddie R. Waite (Tandi) of Nederland and Alton A. Waite (Nancy) of Nederland; his grandchildren, Eddie Waite II, Josh Waite (Allison) and Christie Thompson (Blake); his son Aaron Waite; his great grandchildren, Henry, Caroline, Jude and Ethan Waite; and his grandchildren, Jacy Winfrey, Bryson, Kambri Montoya and Cadence Thompson.
