She is survived by: her husband Ronald "Jean" Barras; her daughter Kerri Babineaux; her stepchildren, Ronnie Barras (Phyllis), Anne Hanks (Kevin) and Jeff Barras (Terri); and her grandchildren, Wendi Kemp, Nikki Afinowicz (Caine), Amanda Seymour, Amy Leblanc (Larry), Joey Babineaux (Amy), Jenni Ray (Cody), Katie Montalvo (Morris), Julie Fultz (Will), Amanda Delcambre (Logan), Alan Hanks (Megan), Alexander Hanks (Kassie), Caitlyn Shuler (Kol), Spencer Barras (Blayne) and Britnie Alvarez (James). She is also survived by twenty-eight great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
