She was predeceased by: her husband Eddie McCorvy; her parents, Paul Blackwell and Helen Coggins Blackwell; and her siblings, Roy Coggins, Troy Coggins and Merle Cox.

She is survived by: her sons, Michael McCorvy and Patrick McCorvy (Cheri); her sister Gayle Hopson (James); her stepbrother Joe Coggins; and her grandchildren, Kendall, Mae, Kade, Kenzie and Kyle McCorvy.

In lieu of flowers, her family asks that donations in her memory be made to CASA Southeast Texas, 2449 Calder Avenue, Beaumont, Texas 77702.
