He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Albert Malone and Vennie Rowena Malone (Aulds); his siblings, Carol Sanford and Charles Marvin Malone; and his grandson Taylor Bandsma.
He is survived by: his wife Betty L. Malone of Nederland, Texas; his children, Michaella Fontenot (Gregg) of Ville Platte, Louisiana, Penny Malone of Nederland, Texas and Richard Malone (Andra) of Port Neches, Texas; his grandchildren, Josh Bandsma, Kaylee, Emma Bandsma and MaryAnn; his great grandchildren, Avery, Daniel, Colson and Baby; and his sister Margaret Upton Bissett.
