He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Marie Hampton and James Parker Hampton; his sons, Christopher Steve Hampton and Randy Paul Hampton; his brother-in-law Larry Guilbeaux; and his nephew Brad Guilbeaux.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Frances Leone Hampton; his daughters, Christie Coats, Tammy Salenga (Richie), Kaylene Ray, Becky Ray and Julie Lowe (Keith); his sister Patricia Guilbeaux; his half-brother Steve Hampton; and his grandchildren, Jason, Jordon, Jeffrey, Jarrod, Melody, Cameron Coats, Brandon, Brent Salenga, Brittney Womack (Chad), Latoya Mendez, Erica Dossett (Dustin), Stevie Ray and Whitney Lee (Steven). He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
