It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ora Christopher of Nederland, Texas, born in Woodsboro, Texas, who passed away on August 3, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Delvin Dippel and Sofie Helen Wieting Dippel; her husband Marion Love Christopher; her brothers, Murray Dippel, Perry Lee Dippel, Kirven Dale Dippel and John Emil Dippel; and her grandson Brandon Christopher.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Dell Cowart (Gregory) of Montgomery, Texas, Marion Wayne Christopher (Polly) of Nederland, Wesley Glenn Christopher (LaNan) of Bridge City, Texas and Rita Kay Parker (Rory) of New Braunfels, Texas; her sisters, Doris Helen Blaschke of Woodsboro and Wanda Lea Hoelscher of Kingsville, Texas; and her grandchildren, Jason Cowart (Kelly), Jarred Cowart (Jami), Melissa Kirchmer (Chris), Clint Christopher (Gina), Krista Parker (Andy), Ryan Parker (Tiffany), Clayton Christopher (Michelle), Darren Christopher (Layne) and Darrell Christopher (Amanda). She is also survived by twenty nine great grandchildren and twelve great-great grandchildren.
