He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Meeker and Edith Meeker. He is survived by: his wife Tinker Meeker of Nederland; his sons, Michael Meeker (Melinda Carter) of Houston and Eddie Meeker of Nederland; his grandchildren, Noah and Eleanor; his cousins, Tom Merrill of Topeka, Kansas and Betsy Harlan of Topeka, Kansas; his siblings-in-law, Pam Wyont and Ed Barnes of Haughton, Louisiana; his nephew Beau; his niece Staci; and his pet Mathilda.
