He was predeceased by: his parents, Margie Lucille Pennington Clayton and John McBride Clayton; his wife Willie Sue Clayton; his siblings, Shirley Alford, Jennie C. Love and Roger Gehrels; and his siblings-in-law, Rene, Anna Mae Metreyon and James Elray Metreyeon.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Clayton (Heather) of Mauriceville and Mandy Clayton of Nederland; his grandchild Ryan Davenport; his children, Kalea, Megan, Hannah, Kannon Clayton, Katie and Ryan Litynesky; his pet Max; and his siblings, Mark Clayton (Janice) of Nederland, Jimmy Clayton (Susie) of McDade, Don Clayton (Rhonda) of Fulshear and Shelly Gibbs (Billy) of Fannett. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
