He was predeceased by: his father Ly Vinh Nguyen; and his grandchildren, Maddon and Grayson Nguyen. He is survived by: the mother of his children Kim; his son Tony (Kim); his grandchildren, Mikayla, Oliver, Charlotte and Claire; his daughter Phu (Nathan); his grandchildren, Ethan and Lily; his son Duy (Amanda); his grandchildren, Leighton, Jordyn, Logan and Madyson; his son Tan; his grandchild Sage; his daughter Lan (Chris); his grandchild Beckham; his great grandchild Phong; and his siblings, Dinh, Max, Damien, Mai, Anna, Susie, Marie, Daphne and Scholastica. He is also survived by grandfather, and a leader for his family.
In remembrance of John Nguyen's life, the family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to Catholic Charities to continue his life's work to feed and help those less fortunate.
