He was predeceased by: his parents, Sampson Miers and Frances Whiddon Miers; and his brothers, Sammy Miers and Charles Fred Miers. He is survived by: his wife Frances Miers (Sweetheart); his children, Myndi Munoz (John) and Michael Miers (Mandy); and his grandchildren, Dade Miers, Cooper Munoz and Anthony Munoz. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Broussard's Mortuary (505 N 12th St, Nederland, TX 77627). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at the Oak Bluff Memorial Park (618 Block St, Port Neches, TX 77651).
