She was predeceased by: her parents, Nora Earle Carter Young and Allen Young; her husband Roger Forsythe, Sr.; and her sister Belva Siebenthall. She is survived by: her children, Melissa Forsythe (Brenda Townsend) of Fort Worth, Jennifer Bertrand (Darren) of Nederland, Brenda Bodin (Robert) of Nederland and Roger Forsythe, Jr. (Amanda) of Orangefield; her granddaughter Erica Blackwell; her children, Brady Blackwell, Christi McElroy (Adam), Devin Bertrand, Reagan Contreras (Josh), Slate Bodin, Michaela Stamey (Carl) and Emma Forsythe; her great grandchild Remmington Osborne; and her grandchildren, Lillian Godley, Harrison McElroy and Holden McElroy.
