He is survived by: his wife Anna Garrett of Port Arthur, TX; his children, James Daniel Garrett, III (Christina), Samuel Joseph Garrett (Melinda), Rachel Garrett and Christel Ferguson (Gavin); his grandchildren, Cassidy Cooper, Alyssa Cooper, Sage Monson, Caden Norris, Conner Ferguson, Madison Ferguson, Jonathan Garrett, Isaac Garrett, Ethan Garrett, Olive Garrett, Peyton Garrett, Landon Garrett and Zana Tatum; his brother Robert Davis (Christine); his nieces, Brandy Miller (Brent), Makahla Davis, Katelynn Davis and Emma Davis; his nephew David Lundine; his great-nieces, Breana Hensley and Haleigh Lemaire; his great-nephew Anthony Lemaire; and his stepmother Linda Garrett. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins and his beloved church family and friends.
