He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Oliver and Lois Elkins; and his siblings, Jeanine Landry, Billy, George and Mike Elkins.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Elkins; his sons, Clinton Elkins (Amanda), Cory Elkins, Joshua Schaver and Patrick Schaver (Iracema); his brothers, Dan Elkins (Geneva) and Pat Elkins (Moggie); and his son Cody Elkins. He is also survived by grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
