He is survived by: his brother Curties Pontiff; his children, Susy Collins, Ray Shirley (Shari), Karen Wiley (Ricky) and Raymond Pontiff (Laura); his grandson Danny Viator, Jr.; and his children, Dustin Shirley, Brenton Shirley, Josh Shirley, Joe Wiley, Jason Wiley, Cory Pontiff, Sarah Pontiff and Lauren Pontiff. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
