It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorris Emily Luther of Nederland, Texas, born in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on August 14, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Beaulah Mae Crisman and John Harlin Crisman; her son Allen Whelply; and her sisters, Irma Farris and JoAnn Young.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Luther; her daughters, Eileen Cribbs and Elaine Morris (Mark); her stepchildren, Shirley Luther and Judy Bridgwater; her grandson Tommy Cribbs; her stepchildren, Ryan Bridgwater and Renee Whelply; and her sister Florence Cooley. She is also survived by seven great-granchildren.
