He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Verde and Mike Verde; his son Robert Verde; and his brothers, Jake, Vic and Sam Verde.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Neoma Verde; his children, Barbara Williamson (Gerald), Delores Jones (Raymond) of Lumberton and Rick Verde of Granger; his grandchildren, Marc White (Kelli), Greg White (Dawn), Chris Verde (Heather), Nic Verde, Eli Verde, Ben Verde (Melanie), Heather Little (Adam), LeAnne Evans (Joey), Victoria Jacobs (Brandon) and Sara Ferguson (Josh); his great grandchildren, Matt White (Carlee), Trent White, Cole White, Seth White, Trace White, Tabytha Little, Aubrey Evans, Piper Evans, Landry Evans, Logan Jacobs, Natalie Jacobs, Whitley Jacobs, Ember Verde and Trevor Verde; and his brother J. C. Verde of Port Arthur. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
