He was predeceased by: his parents, John Scott and Era Whiddon Scott; his wife Johnnie Lee Scott; and his son Michael Paul Scott. He is survived by: his children, Kim Reese (Darrett) of Port Arthur, Lissa Berea (Valentin) of Katy, Phyllis Ellis (Richard) of League City, Julie Scott of Tomball and Mark Scott (Lisa) of Port Neches; his grandchildren, Angie Belaire (Seth), Michelle D'Souza (Jeffrey), Jessica South (Chad), Brandon Scott (Shayna), Madison Jones (Caleb), Parker Scott and Nathan Berea; his great grandchildren, Camryn, Hudsyn McCelvey, Levi D'Souza, Tucker, Dexter Belaire, Declan Brien, William Scott, Scout Jones and Croix South; and his siblings, Judy Johnson (R. T.) and Hubert Scott.
