She was predeceased by: her mother Ruth Wilson Taylor; her husband Howard F. Hester; and her siblings, Lillian Lanier, Pat Grounds, Harold J. Taylor, Hollis R. Taylor and Wayne D. Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Susan M. Jackson, Paul G. Hester, Johnny R. Hester and William F. Hester; and her siblings, Melba Jones, Robert Taylor, John Taylor, Lynn Taylor and Richard Taylor. She is also survived by four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
