It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leonard Taylor of Neches, Texas, born in Beaumont, Texas, who passed away on September 27, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvin Joseph and Ruth Taylor (Vernelle); and his siblings, Lillian Lanier, Pat Grounds, Sherry Hester, Harold Taylor, Hollis Taylor, Wayne Taylor and John Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Taylor; his daughters, Jennifer Cannon (Chad) and Jessica Taylor (Robert); his siblings, Melba Jones and Robert Taylor; and his grandchildren, Jackelyn Camacho (Juan), Rachel Jones, Justin Hutcherson, James Taylor, Gunnar Cannon, Dakota Cannon and Silas Cannon. He is also survived by his many family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial gifts be made to our local Vietnam Veterans Association Post 991 at P. O. Box 10, Palestine, Texas 75802.
