She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Cox and Ida Tilghman Cox; and her daughter Treva Goforth. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Whitfield; her children, Jean, Troy Whitfield (Sharon), Todd Whitfield (Jennifer) of Toby Whitfield, T. J and Trish Jacquet (Rob); her son-in-law Jeff Goforth; and her siblings, Nancy Bradfield and George Cox. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and a multitude of friends.
