He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson "Bo" Shive and Nelda Thane Shive; his brother Dennis Shive; his sister-in-law Laura Imhoff; and his granddaughter Contessa Shive.
He is survived by: his wife Tracy; his children, Jeffery Shive (Kara), Matt Shive (Holly) and Jodi Robinson (Matt); his grandchildren, Cadence, Kane, Ellison, Tate, Cavenlea, Charis, Mason, Jules and Cullen; and his siblings-in-law, Michele Harrington (Jim) and Frank Imhoff. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, as well as great nieces and great nephews.
