Susan Brak Obituary

The memory of Susan Brak of Navasota, Texas, who passed away on April 4, 2025 at the age of 66, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Busse and Erna Emma Louise Busse (Schroeder); her parents-in-law, Charlie, Kathy McKay and Noel Brak; and her brother-in-law Brad Loden.

She is survived by: her husband James J. Brak; her children, Valerie Offutt (Jeff) and John Brak (Crystal); her grandchildren, Jones Offutt, Bradley Offutt and Baby Boy Brak; her siblings, Johnny Busse (Susie) and Judy Loden; and her friends, Susan and Gail Schroeder. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, godchildren, relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nobles Funeral Chapel (402 Blackshear St, Navasota, TX 77868). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Salem Lutheran Church (2373 FM 2988, Navasota, TX 77868). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Whitehall Church Cemetery (2373 FM 2988, Navasota, TX 77868).

In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome in Susan's memory to Salem Lutheran Church, Grimes County Relay for Life, or Our Savior Lutheran School in Arlington, VA.
