With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Lys of Navasota, Texas, born in Wheelock, Texas, who passed away on December 5, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leopold Walter Lys (Lee) and Marie Demel Sodek Lys; his son Michael Lys; and his siblings, Joe Lys, Lee Lys (Bill), Martha Lys, Georgia Lys Apodaca (Joe), Gladys Lys McCary (Mac) and Elsie Lys Jones (James).
He is survived by: his wife Bessie Ann Lys (Easter Egg); his children, Robert Lys, Jr. (Bobby) and Sandra; his grandchildren, Melissa Lys Flournoy, Stephen, Kathryn Lys Mikulenka, Eric, Jonathan E. Lys, Lauren, Michael L. Lys, Allycenn, Marcus L. Lys and Alexandra; his great grandchildren, Wilmarie Lys, Jonah Lys and Lucas Lys; his sisters-in-law, Rose Lys and Lynda Lys; and also Sandie Lys.
