She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto F. Kolkhorst and Olga Bosse Kolkhorst; her husband Clifford H. James; her parents-in-law, William G. James, Sr. and Elsie Miller James; her sisters, Mildred Kolkhorst Breedlove and Thekla "Babe" Kolkhorst Riechers (Ervin Riechers); and her brother-in-law William G. James Jr. (Doris).
She is survived by: her son Michael James; her daughter-in-law Shelli James; her grandchildren, Lauren Nettles (Matt) and Spencer James (Ashley); her great grandchild Raeleigh James Nettles; and her sister-in-law Mary K. Mitchell. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be made to Friedens Church of Washington.
