He is survived by: his mother Maria Dolores Tamez Medina; his wife Melanie Escamilla; his children, Christopher Medina, Aaron Garcia, Natalie Medina, Amelia Medina and Alison Garcia; and his brothers, Simon Medina and Jeremy Medina.

A prayer was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Oakland Cemetery (801 6th St, Navasota, TX 77868).
