He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dayton "JD" Lane and Edna Jean Lane (Lankford); and his brothers, Marvin "Butch" Lane and Don E. Lane. He is survived by: his wife Charlene Rae Lane of The Woodlands; his son Bill; his daughter-in-law Dee Lane of Plantersville; his daughters, Tauna (Darien Gist), Andrea Smith of Kingwood, Jami (Jason Kuder) and Brandi (Ladd Laird); his brother Clayton "Dale" Lane of Amarillo; his grandchildren, Heath, Dylan, Theresa, Matthew, Deanna, Justin, Ashley, Jackson, Emily and James "Peyton"; and his great grandchildren, Mackenzie and Draco. He is also survived by numerous cousins, in-laws, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to CityChurch Outreach, 205 S. Polk St., Amarillo, TX 79101.
