She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Haferkamp and Beulah Haferkamp (Wade); her husband L. E. Mitchell, Jr.; and her daughter Era Edna Mitchell. She is survived by: her children, Lonnie E. Mitchell, III (Donna), Larry D. and Carol L. Langley (James); her sisters, Louise Ford and Betty Ann Schwarz (Richard); her grandchildren, Kade Mitchell, Justin M. Langley and Jace B.; and her great grandchildren, Jadyn Langley, Morgyn Langley and Anna Langley. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Lynn Grove Methodist Church or International Essential Tremor Foundation.
