With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bonnie Jean Lanford of Navasota, Texas, who passed away on January 14, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Bonnie Jean had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Bonnie Jean may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Wehmeyer and Alle Wehmeyer (Wehring); her husband L. H. Lanford; her son Kenneth; and her sister Alice.
She is survived by: her son Darrell; her daughter-in-law Mary of College Station; and her granddaughters, Gwen French (Michael) of Glen Allen, VA and Kathryn Wright of Fargo, ND. She is also survived by her six great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Oakland Cemetery (801 6th St, Navasota, TX 77868). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
