She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Elizondo and Delfina Garcia Elizondo; her husband Pablo Medrano; her son Reynaldo Medrano; her grandson Oscar Villarreal; and her brothers, Elias Elizondo, Jesus Elizondo, Jose Elizondo and Timoteo Elizondo.
She is survived by: her children, Minerva Villarreal, Hilda Gonzalez, Thelma Alaniz (Samuel), Cynthia Marquez, Juan Martin Medrano (Anna) and Rita Medrano; and her siblings, Apolonia Briseno, Maria Cuevas, Benito Elizondo (Lydia), Emelia Ramirez and Juan Elizondo. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
