He is survived by: his wife Esther Perez; his children, Elbert Perez, Adan Perez, Paul Perez, Roland Perez, John Emery, Sylvia Sandoval and Lorraine Ortiz; and his siblings, Mike Perez, Joe Perez and Petra Tibal. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren.
