He was predeceased by: his son Baldemar Montalvo, Jr.; his mother Teresa Aleman; and his sisters, Aurora Soto and Severa Barrera. He is survived by: his wife Natalia Montalvo; his children, Orlando Montalvo and Belinda Lopez (Juan); and his sisters, Julia Hernandez, Trinidad Mancha and Frances Garza. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
