She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Hart and Roberta Hart; her former husband Norman Shelby; her brother Chester Hart; her daughter-in-law Cindy Shelby; and her stepson Dr. Robert Fox.
She is survived by: her husband Rev. Robert Fox of Nash, Texas; her children, Jean Meador (John) of Atlanta, Debbie Tipps (Hank) of Lindale, Dennis Shelby of Maud, John Shelby (Tracey) of Queen City and Angela Crump (Jason) of Atlanta, Texas; and her stepdaughter Renita Fox Johnson (Ray) of Doddridge, Arkansas. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
